Each year, Hospice Peterborough hosts meaningful and memorable fundraising events that help ensure everyone in our community living with or affected by life-threatening illness and grief has access to support. Whether you’re walking in memory of a loved one at Hike for Hospice or indulging in local food and drink at our Summer Sips series, you can be sure participation in our events is making an impact.
We also welcome third-party fundraising events that promote the work of Hospice and increase awareness of the work we do. We encourage you to get creative and reach out to our fundraising team (see sidebar) for support in promoting your event. For more information on our upcoming events, read on!

Hike for Hospice 2026: registration is now open!
For over twenty years, Hospice Peterborough’s annual Hike for Hospice has been bringing together passionate individuals and teams who want to keep end-of-life and bereavement support available to our community at no cost, while offering a welcoming space to honour loved ones who have died.
Join us Sunday, September 27, from 9 AM to 1 PM, in Millennium Park for a lively and fun gathering, a reflective walk, and Hospice Peterborough’s largest annual fundraising event.
Last year, we raised a record-breaking $138,000 thanks to over 360 participants and numerous local business sponsors.
As demand for our services continues to grow, we hope we can exceed these numbers at this year’s Hike.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Hospice Peterborough. Every year volunteers spend hundreds of hours to help Hospice Peterborough with fundraising events.
As a volunteer with Hospice Peterborough, you can share your time and skills, learn new skills, meet new friends, and make a difference.
