Giving to Hospice Peterborough
Death often brings a financial burden, which is why Hospice Peterborough is dedicated to providing our programs and services free of charge. We are only able to do this because of the generous donations of individuals, corporations and foundations.
Hospice Peterborough is not fully funded and relies on individuals, businesses, corporations, churches and service organizations to provide more than 48% of our total budget. Your support helps to ensure that we can continue to provide support to people in our community living with life threatening illness or grieving the loss of a loved one.
Hospice Peterborough community fundraisers help to support, educate and care for over 6,000 Peterborough and area residents each year, living with life threatening illness or dealing with grief. Hospice palliative care provides physical, psychological, social, spiritual and practical support for people living with life-threatening illness, their loved ones and the bereaved.
Volunteers are the Heart and Soul of Hospice Peterborough.
You can also make a huge contribution by volunteering. We are always looking for volunteers to help with events, learn new skills and make new friends.
If you would like to work on a committee, help with fundraising or volunteer at an event please contact Alison at Hospice Peterborough in person, by phone, mail, email or fax or drop in to our office at:
