The Palliative Care Volunteer Vigil Network (PCVN) supports the coordination of palliative care volunteer resources in the Peterborough community. PCVN represents hospitals, long term care facilities, and non-profit community based programs who have come together to share resources and more effectively recruit, screen, educate, supervise, and support palliative care volunteers.

Volunteers are able to serve clients both in the home and in institutions, and are offered a wide range of palliative care volunteer opportunities. These opportunities will vary in location, duration and scope of responsibilities.
