Hike for Hospice Peterborough - 10th Anniversary
It has been 10 years since Hospice Peterborough joined the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association's inaugural hike to raise awareness and much needed funds for hospice palliative care across our country. Locally our hike has raised more than $250,000 with all funds supporting community programming. Our Hike organizing committee is hard at work planning next year's event. We hope you will join us.

Great Day for a Hike...
The 9th Annual Hike for Hospice was a fun day to take a walk, enjoy a picnic lunch and a live concert, share a memory, go on a scavenger hunt or simply spend time with family and friends over a cup of coffee or an ice cream cone.
Over 260 people attended this year's event to honour someone they've lost, to celebrate life and to support the work of Hospice in our community. Hospice Peterborough raised over $41,000 on Sunday May 1st, 2011.
A huge round of applause goes out to all the hikers, volunteers and sponsors that made this event such a huge success - it wouldn't happen without so many generous and caring people.
All the proceeds from Hike for Hospice Peterborough stay in our community to help people at this most difficult time.
