Donor Appreciation

Norm Smith and Joan Hogan present Linda Sunderland with $70,000 from the Festival of Trees. St. Pete's Teenagers Make a Difference in Hospice Care.

Grade 10 students from St. Peter's Secondary School, Stephanie Seabrooke, Rebecca Maynard, Carla Pilatzskie and Regan Maloney with Linda Sunderland, Executive Director of Hospice Peterborough.

In June of 2009 the Toskan Casale Foundation Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) awarded teenagers across the province with funds to present to local charities as part of a class project. Students researched local charities and non-profit organizations and presented on their chosen charity before a panel of judges and a school audience. Their award-winning skit netted Hospice Peterborough a giant $5000 cheque.
