A Day At Hospice
Our Wednesday day program, held here at Hospice, offers participants a comfortable place to take part in our support groups and other activities that are creative and therapeutic as well as fun. Support groups for men and women are held in the morning from 10 AM - 11:45 AM. Everyone is welcome to stay for lunch and an afternoon activity.
Anyone living with a serious, life-threatening illness is welcome to attend. Our building is wheelchair accessible. There is a registered nurse on site during the program.
Why come? Consider taking a break from your usual routine. Meet others who share many of your concerns. Give your caregiver a break. Learn new and interesting things. Relax. Laugh. Get the support you need. Enjoy a great lunch.
We ask that anyone wanting to attend contact the client care coordinator so that we can learn more about you before you arrive and welcome you to the program. We can also help you arrange a ride, if necessary.
The day is flexible so you can come and go when you want. Everyone understands that it can be very tiring to spend a day away from home.
